Bandô Tamasaburô as the demon princess, Tomihime, in an undated performance at the Kabuki-za (late 1970s?). Tomihime appears at the beginning of the play dressed in a straw raincoat, because she has been visiting Yukihime in Demon Pond to request rain so that the her sister's visit will not be spoiled by the noise of a hunting party led by the lord of Himeji castle.
