Suehirogari (An Umbrella instead of a Fan): Another Tarokaja play. In this one the master sends Tarokaja to the marketplace to buy a suehiro (fan), but Tarokaja doesn't know what the word means. An unscrupulous umbrella seller convinces him that an umbrella is what his master wants, and to clinch the deal, teaches Tarokaja a dance that will cheer his master up when he's feeling unhappy. When Tarokaja returns with the umbrella instead of the fan, the master chases him out of the house, but when Tarokaja starts performing the song and dance he was taught, the master hears him and comes out of the house to watch, and finally joins in dancing and singing with him.
