Act 7 in the Ichiriki Brothel: As Yuranosuke reads a letter from Hangan's wife, Okaru uses a mirror to try to read it. You can't quite see it because of the glare but Kudayu is hiding under the veranda where Yuranosuke is standing, and as Yuranosuke unrolls the letter, he reads it as well.
