Ariel's Songs from The Tempest used in "Sado Tempest"

The Tempest is one of Shakespeare's most musical plays. The magic of music to change the world is one of the underlying themes that is brought out in "Sado Tempest." These are some of the songs that are song by the Miranda character in the film (originally sung by Ariel in The Tempest).

Act 1, Scene 2, line 452 (Folger Shakespeare Library digital text)

Come unto these yellow sands,
And then take hands.
Curtsied when you have, and kissed
The wild waves whist.
Foot it featly here and there,
And sweet sprites bear
The burden. Hark, hark!
Burden dispersedly, within:Bow-wow.
The watchdogs bark.
Burden dispersedly, within:Bow-wow.
Hark, hark! I hear
The strain of strutting chanticleer
Cry cock-a-diddle-dow.

In the second half of the above song, Ariel sings to Ferdinand about his father (although Ariel implies he is dead, it is not in fact true, his father is alive and on the island)

Act 1, Scene 2, line 474 (Folger Shakespeare digital text)

Full fathom five thy father lies.
Of his bones are coral made.
Those are pearls that were his eyes.
Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea change
Into something rich and strange.
Sea nymphs hourly ring his knell.
Hark, now I hear them: ding dong bell.

Act 5, Scene 1, line 98 (Folger Shakespeare digital text)

Where the bee sucks, there suck I.
In a cowslip’s bell I lie.
There I couch when owls do cry.
On the bat’s back I do fly
After summer merrily.
Merrily, merrily shall I live now
Under the blossom that hangs on the bow.

Note also, although it is not quoted, this speech by Caliban about how much music there is on the island:

Act 3, scene 2, line (Folger Shakespeare Library digital text)

Be not afeard, the isle is full of noises,
Sounds, and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears; and sometime voices,
That if I then wak’d after long sleep,
Will make me sleep again, and then in dreaming,
The clouds methought would open, and show riches
Ready to drop upon me, that when I wak’d
I cried to dream again.
