Attendance: Necessary for passing the course

Participation: 10%

Midterm: 20%

Paper: 40 %

Final: 30%

Veterans Day ( Nov 11) and Thanksgiving holiday (Nov 24–25). No class sessions on these dates.

Due Dates:

Midterm exam: Tuesday, 10/25

Last day to sign up for peer conferences: Tuesday, 11/8

Paper drafts due:Tuesday, 11/10
If you are participating in peer conferences, bring 2 copies, one for AJVS, one for your peer reader.
If you are not participating in peer conferences, bring one copy for AJVS. . (Don't forget: Last day to sign up to participate in peer conferences: Thursday, 11/8)

Return peer reading sheet and the paper to the writer: Thursday, 11/17

Volunary Peer Conferences: Tuesday, 11/22. No regular class.

Papers due:
Tuesday 11/22 or 11/23- if you are NOT PARTICIPATING in peer conferencs
Tuesday, 12/1 -- if you ARE PARTICIPATING in peer conferences

Last day of class: Thursday, 12/1.
